Choose this to find your progress toward getting the permit. This is required before the other options will unlock. These options are accessed by sitting in the chair at the back of the office. ![]() ![]() "Naughty letter" deletes an offensive letter they received and might be showing you. "Wrong clothes" removes any custom patterns they might be wearing. Choosing "rude language" resets their greeting and catchphrase. If you're trying to get a perfect town rating, this option will let you know if you're on track. Your assistant Isabelle will help you with general town information, but only if you stand on the front side of the counter. Return the next day to unlock the town hall's available services. Once these tasks are complete, Isabelle will give you a watering can. If you can't find the right gear for your choice, speak to her again to buy it for 500 bells.
